Onto my second car - a 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium. Talk about a step up from a V6 engine. After 3 great years with my challenger, I decided I wanted something different. Something with more power. Something with more power. I didn’t want a Challenger again for the time being, and the (Dodge) Chargers are similar to the Challengers on the inside. I’m not a big Camaro guy personally. But I did start to really like the look of the 2015-2017 5.0 Mustangs. So I went to looking and was surprised at how affordable they were. I found a gem down in Sanford, NC, and pulled the trigger! I traded in my Challenger. I’m not a big believer in thinking for months and months over a car because it just creates unnecessary anxiety into an already busy and hectic life. Cars are supposed to be fun. These types of cars are supposed to be even more fun. If it makes sense and you want it, go for it! So I did.
This was an absolutely loaded 5.0 inside and out. Barely 19,000 miles on a car that was made 4.5 years prior to when I purchased it. More than 435 horsepower in a 5.0 liter V8 engine. An aerodynamic yet still muscle-looking car.. man. I was overjoyed. Sounded so good and stuck corners so well with seemingly little body roll (no strut brace either). Lowered on Eibach springs sitting on wide Falken tires. Tuned with a JLT cold air intake, met with a MBRP catback exhaust. And of course I had to add my own modifications. I could go on and on. This was such a great experience to have for my first real V8 muscle car and I wouldn’t have chosen another car for it.
