I had wanted a Jeep for 3-4 years. But my main catch to doing so was that it couldn’t be my only vehicle, mostly because I heard how bad it is on gas (actually not that bad). I found a great deal on a 2014 Rubicon in Clinton, NC, and pulled the trigger. Fully loaded inside and out, already came with a 2.5” lift and seemingly brand new 35x12.5x17 Falken tires. Rode very smooth and I absolutely loved the look. I had it as a weekend vehicle to relieve my Mustang and also to help me carry around some of my equipment - even though he inside of Wranglers actually aren’t that spacious.
However.. I ended up only keeping the car for 4 or so months due to my need for speed. As beautiful as Jeeps are, they are very, and i mean very, slow. I’m sure the new gen Wranglers are faster, but mine was a crawler. I enjoyed it for the time I had it though, and changed he look to it a little with some tint, grille inserts, headlight + taillight guards, front bumper prerunner hook, K&N performance filter and more. Will always love the look of Wranglers.
