#5: 2020 Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pack Widebody

So.. for my very latest of interesting decisions, I purchased a widebody scat pack challenger a little over a month ago. A HUGE 6.4 liter, 392 cubic inch, V8 engine that pushes out 485 horsepower and 475 foot pounds of torque straight out of the factory. I always thought people were amping up how much faster the 392 (Scat Pack) was than the 345 (R/T), but not. at. all. It is a whole different animal. This is definitely the fastest car I’ve ever owned or even driven. The power seems very sporty to be such a big engine with such a wide chassis. I mean, the car is massive. In both width and length, it is big. The widebody flares add 3.5 inches to both sides of the car to make it even thicker. I absolutely love what Dodge did with the widebody kits on both the Challengers and the Chargers. Along with the fender flares, the suspension dips lower (especially in the front) and the body sits on much wider tires -305/35/20s. It has a great, aggressive and beefy stance. The torque on this car is insane also. Even after a month with the car and 1100+ miles on it so far, it still surprises me. It will definitely shoot you back in your seat.

My jeep was traded in for this car due to simply wanting a more mobile vehicle and this being the car that I wanted for some time. Surprisingly, a challenger and charger mix is actually a great combination even though they are both sports cars. They are similar yet very different. I love the appearance of both, and love the drive of both respectively. They both serve important purposes!

So far I’ve cut the mid mufflers off to give it a louder tone, and also got the side windows tinted. I will update as more modifications occur :D

#4: 2019 Dodge Charger R/T

After about 13 months with the 5.0, I decided I wanted to go back to Dodge/only Mopar (Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram). After certain issues with Ford and their lack of good customer service I was ready to make a switch again, so I traded in my 5.0 for an R/T Charger. I think Dodge does a great job with the UConnect infotainment systems they offer - they’re very simple yet big and modern screens, that give you more than everything you need is a very visually appealing way. As funny as it sounds, that was one of the things I missed the most. I also started to really like the look of the Chargers. So I started looking for some and just seeing what the prices were on them. I originally was gunning for a Scat Pack 392 (6.4L V8), but ultimately settled for a R/T (5.7L V8). I dropped a little in speed from my Mustang but for my everyday purposes, it was just what I needed. I also was able to find this in a very rare color, F8 green, with the help from a friend. Found a HECK of a steal down in Southern Pines, NC, and made a deal for it before hundreds of others could seal the deal.

The R/T chargers come with 370 horsepower and 395 foot pounds of torque. Anybody who knows something about Dodge muscle cars knows these these vehicles are huge.. “boats” if you will. That is why i’ve always liked them. More so than feeling the speed in this car, I feel the power of the big 5.7 liter engine even without having to clamp my foot down on the gas. It takes a little while for the power to get put all the way down, but when it does.. it sure is fun. Check out some pictures. Absolutely love the look of this car and what Dodge did with it to keep it sporty, yet very comfortable as a daily driver. I coupled this with the Jeep for about a month and a half.

#3: 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon X

I had wanted a Jeep for 3-4 years. But my main catch to doing so was that it couldn’t be my only vehicle, mostly because I heard how bad it is on gas (actually not that bad). I found a great deal on a 2014 Rubicon in Clinton, NC, and pulled the trigger. Fully loaded inside and out, already came with a 2.5” lift and seemingly brand new 35x12.5x17 Falken tires. Rode very smooth and I absolutely loved the look. I had it as a weekend vehicle to relieve my Mustang and also to help me carry around some of my equipment - even though he inside of Wranglers actually aren’t that spacious.

However.. I ended up only keeping the car for 4 or so months due to my need for speed. As beautiful as Jeeps are, they are very, and i mean very, slow. I’m sure the new gen Wranglers are faster, but mine was a crawler. I enjoyed it for the time I had it though, and changed he look to it a little with some tint, grille inserts, headlight + taillight guards, front bumper prerunner hook, K&N performance filter and more. Will always love the look of Wranglers.

My Second Car!! 2015 Ford Mustang GT

Onto my second car - a 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium. Talk about a step up from a V6 engine. After 3 great years with my challenger, I decided I wanted something different. Something with more power. Something with more power. I didn’t want a Challenger again for the time being, and the (Dodge) Chargers are similar to the Challengers on the inside. I’m not a big Camaro guy personally. But I did start to really like the look of the 2015-2017 5.0 Mustangs. So I went to looking and was surprised at how affordable they were. I found a gem down in Sanford, NC, and pulled the trigger! I traded in my Challenger. I’m not a big believer in thinking for months and months over a car because it just creates unnecessary anxiety into an already busy and hectic life. Cars are supposed to be fun. These types of cars are supposed to be even more fun. If it makes sense and you want it, go for it! So I did.

This was an absolutely loaded 5.0 inside and out. Barely 19,000 miles on a car that was made 4.5 years prior to when I purchased it. More than 435 horsepower in a 5.0 liter V8 engine. An aerodynamic yet still muscle-looking car.. man. I was overjoyed. Sounded so good and stuck corners so well with seemingly little body roll (no strut brace either). Lowered on Eibach springs sitting on wide Falken tires. Tuned with a JLT cold air intake, met with a MBRP catback exhaust. And of course I had to add my own modifications. I could go on and on. This was such a great experience to have for my first real V8 muscle car and I wouldn’t have chosen another car for it.

My First Car! 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT

When I was 23, I kind-of sporadically decided I wanted a Dodge Challenger. Every time I saw one on the road it caught my eye and I became obsessed with them. I had to have it. So on August 3, 2016.. I did just that and bought my very own first car. A 2016 Dodge Challenger SXT. The classic muscle car body lines mixed with a modern look. Big and bulky still, unlike the other choices - Ford Mustangs and Chevy Camaros. Back then I didn’t really care at all about V8 or V6, I just wanted a challenger and that was the most affordable trim level of the newly designed line. It (re)sparked my love for cars that I had when I was a young child. My dad has always been big into cars as well and that’s where I originally got the love for them from. However, somewhere over the course of my growing-up years I had lost that admiration. Until then!

But anywho. I loved this car. 305 horsepower in a V6 engine is not bad at all. I did a lot of cosmetic appearance modifications to it for the 3 years I had it, as you can kind-of see throughout the pictures. Ran like a champ!

Cars cars cars!!!!

Hello. I love cars!!!! Especially domestic muscle cars. I wanted to start a brief page about the cars I’ve owned and own now, and the modifications I do to them. I may even talk about some cars I admire around. I’m embarrassingly guilty of constantly looking back at my car after getting out of it to take pictures of it, so, here is where those pictures will go! I also hope to make posts of car events I attend. If you love cars, I hope for this to be a cool place you can come to! Please feel free to like or comment. Or just look! That is fine. This will not be a subscribe type of platform, as it is just for fun.

Much love! - Keenan
